Category Description

The category requires a minimum of two and a maximum of six relevant submissions for the director in question to be considered for the award. Music videos and short films of less than 10 minutes are allowed but at least one of the entered pieces must be for a brand. All entries must be the final, aired version of the spots; director cut version are not permitted. Submissions would require the pieces of work in question, and any accompanying case studies, to be sent. All work entered into this category needs to have first aired – or be scheduled to first air – in cinemas on TV or online between the dates of January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. Entries to this category can be English or non-English language, but any non-English language entries must include English subtitles for judging purposes.
